BAO, DIM SUM & COCKTAILS

Currently in France, and living in Asia for most of my time, I love French cuisine but there comes a time when I end up missing Asian cuisine. Before in Paris it was very hard to find a good restaurant serving Asian cuisine of the level you can find on the Asian continent.
A Taste of Authenticity: Bleu Bao Delivers a Culinary Journey to Paris’ Heart
Nestled in the vibrant streets of Paris, Bleu Bao stands out as a beacon of authenticity amidst the city’s bustling culinary scene. As a fervent enthusiast of Asian cuisine, I ventured into Bleu Bao with high expectations, and I’m delighted to say that every bite exceeded them.
Upon entering the restaurant, the ambiance immediately transports you to the streets of Shanghai or Taipei, with subtle yet elegant décor reflecting the fusion of French and Asian cultures. The soft glow of lanterns combined with the soothing melody of traditional Chinese music set the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable dining experience.
Now, onto the main event—the food. Bleu Bao’s menu is a testament to the chef’s dedication to authenticity and innovation. I began my gastronomic journey with the signature dish, the Bleu Bao Buns. The pillowy-soft buns, generously stuffed with succulent pork belly, were a symphony of flavors, marrying the richness of the meat with the delicate sweetness of the steamed bun—a true culinary masterpiece.
Next, I sampled the Sichuan Spicy Chicken, a dish that perfectly balanced fiery heat with aromatic spices, leaving a lingering warmth on the palate. Each tender morsel of chicken was coated in a tantalizing blend of Sichuan peppercorns and chili, creating an explosion of flavors with every bite.
For the main course, I opted for the Braised Beef Noodle Soup, a hearty and comforting dish that transported me back to the bustling noodle stalls of Taiwan. The broth, rich and fragrant, enveloped tender chunks of braised beef and perfectly cooked noodles, creating a bowl of pure comfort that warmed both the body and soul.
To round off the meal, I indulged in the Matcha Tiramisu—a delightful fusion of East and West. The subtle bitterness of the matcha complemented the creamy sweetness of the tiramisu, resulting in a dessert that was both indulgent and refreshing.
Throughout the meal, the service at Bleu Bao was impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring that every need was met with a smile. The passion and dedication of the team shone through in every aspect of the dining experience, elevating it from a meal to a culinary journey.
In conclusion, Bleu Bao is a hidden gem in the heart of Paris, offering an unparalleled dining experience that seamlessly blends the best of Asian and French cuisines. Whether you’re a seasoned connoisseur of Asian fare or simply looking to embark on a culinary adventure, Bleu Bao is a must-visit destination that promises to delight the senses and leave a lasting impression.
