Parlez-nous de votre paire de chaussures préférée et où elles vous ont emmené.

When people talk to me about shoes I start dreaming of great shoes that have lots of magical power, and I go back to a time when I was a teenager, when fashions followed from one year to the next starting by the Air Jordan version 1991, then fashion followed with the Harley Davidson boots worn by Arnold Schwezeneger in Terminator 2, and then came the yellow Timberland pairs with lace.

All these shoes made me dream, I even had a pair from Timberland. Unfortunately I am someone who was born with flat feet. Yes, no one is perfect, so I would say that the pair of shoes that follow me everywhere are Geox shoes, they are very ugly I agree but they are comfortable and of good quality and suitable for flat feet.

Choosing the right pair of shoes involves considering various factors to ensure they meet your needs and preferences.

Identify the primary purpose of the shoes. Are you buying them for running, walking, formal occasions, casual wear, or specific sports?

Consider the activities you’ll engage in while wearing the shoes, as different activities may require specific features.

Ensure a proper fit by trying on shoes in the late afternoon or evening when your feet are slightly larger.

Leave a thumb’s with space between your longest toe and the shoe’s end.

Walk around the store to check for comfort, support, and any potential pressure points.

Consider your foot arch type (low, normal, high) and choose shoes with appropriate arch support.

Some shoes come with removable insoles, allowing you to replace them with custom orthotics if needed.

Choose materials that suit the intended use of the shoes. Leather is durable and breathable, while mesh is lightweight and breathable for athletic shoes.

Ensure proper ventilation to prevent moisture buildup and reduce the risk of fungal infections.

Balance functionality with style. Choose shoes that complement your personal style and match your wardrobe.

Consider the color design, and overall aesthetic appeal to ensure the shoes align with your preferences.

Examine the construction and materials to gauge the durability of the shoes.

Reinforced stitching, quality materials, and a solid sole contribute to the longevity of the footwear.

Be aware that sizing can vary between brands and even between different models of the same brand. Always try on shoes and check reviews for sizing information.

Set a budget before shopping to narrow down your options.

Remember that investing in higher-quality shoes may save you money in the long run, as they tend to be more durable and provide better support.

By considering these factors, you can make a more informed decision when choosing a pair of shoes that not only looks good but also meets your functional and comfort requirements.
