I always have the feeling that the days are not long enough, and that I would obviously like to do a lot more things, first of all I would like the days not to be 24 hours but at least 48 hours, that would leave us a lot more time to organize our day as we would like.

Here is my example of a perfect day, I would start by doing at least an hour of meditation, then I would start thinking about the organization of my 48 hour day, my day would be organized as such:

Sleep and Rest: Allocate a generous portion of your extended day for sleep and rest. Since you have more time, you can afford longer sleep cycles without sacrificing productivity. Consider splitting your sleep into two sessions to maintain freshness throughout the day.

Work and Productivity: Dedicate substantial blocks of time to work or study. With 48 hours at your disposal, you can afford longer work sessions interspersed with breaks for maximum efficiency. Use techniques like the Pomodoro Technique or time blocking to manage your time effectively.

Personal Development: Use the extra time to invest in personal growth and development. This could include learning new skills, pursuing hobbies, or engaging in activities that enhance your well-being.

Exercise and Physical Health: Devote time to exercise and physical activities to maintain your health and fitness. With a longer day, you can incorporate more extensive workout routines or try different types of exercises.

Socializing and Relationships: Allocate time for spending quality moments with family and friends. With a 48-hour day, you’ll have more flexibility to balance social interactions with other responsibilities.

Meals and Nutrition: Ensure you have regular, balanced meals throughout the day to sustain your energy levels. With more time available, you can experiment with cooking or try new recipes.

Relaxation and Leisure: Set aside time for relaxation and leisure activities. Whether it’s reading, watching movies, listening to music, or simply unwinding, taking breaks is crucial for maintaining productivity and well-being.

Reflection and Planning: Use some time to reflect on your goals, evaluate your progress, and plan for the future. Having longer days allows for more thorough reflection and strategic planning.

Errands and Responsibilities: Allocate time for completing errands and attending to other responsibilities, such as household chores or administrative tasks.

Flexibility: Keep some time in your schedule flexible to accommodate unexpected events or changes in plans.

Remember to adapt this schedule based on your individual needs, preferences, and commitments. While a 48-hour day offers more time, it’s essential to strike a balance between productivity, relaxation, and personal fulfillment.

What would you do if you have 48 hours extended day? Leave your comments here.
